We the Bhutanese Tour Agents are strictly instructed and monitored by TCB to use HAB (Hotel Association of Bhutan) certified hotels for our valued clienteles primarily to uphold the service quality. A wide variety of accommodation is available ranging from luxurious 5 Star hotels to cozy little hotels and home stays in traditional Bhutanese homes whereby the settings are done solely in typical Bhutanese style. Visitors can be assured of their warmth and comfort of the hotels. Similarly, the ambience and hospitality offered by the hotels are incredible and rejuvenating. However we provide the best hotels available. There are comfortable hotels built in traditional design at all tourist destinations. Additionally visitors embarking on long treks will be provided with tents and whatever other camping equipment is deemed necessary. Regardless of where they stay, visitors can be assured of their comfort and traditional Bhutanese hospitality.
Like the way your accommodation arrangement is done, three times meal a day shall also be arranged by your local host agent. When it comes to food, different hotels have their own style of menu which normally consists of course such as STARTER: Soup/Salad, MAIN COURSE: Rice, 2 Vegetarian items, 2 Non vegetarian items and DESSERT: depending on the hotel (Chef’s) choice. However, any food allergic case should be informed to your guides immediately so that it is taken into account accordingly to avoid sickness resulting to food. Other option is to inform the host agent prior to your arrival so that hotel team has more time to work out on the menu to ensure everything is done. Traditional Bhutanese food is hot and spicy. For our visitors, however, Chinese, Indian, and Continental fares are also served. The more adventurous can try hot Bhutanese dishes. Meals are normally served buffet style in the hotels but you can always order your own meals of your choice at all the restaurants and hotels depending on the type of meal plan you have agreed with your host agent. Menu is available in two types that is Ala carte and TDH / Set Menu. Therefore, it is very must that you clarify your food menu and costing specifically to avoid last minutes service clash. Howsoever, there is not so much of a problem if you are willing to pay extra and enjoy the service. Kindly be informed that majority of the hotels serve you TDH/ Set Menu during season and have optional in regular season.
